The ADA/ADAAA mandates employers “must engage in a timely good faith interactive process, and employers must provider reasonable accommodation” with an employee who has a disability.  But, what does an employer do when an employee isn’t engaged and won’t call you back, responds sporadically, or says they didn’t ask or need the process?

Follows are some options to ensure you keep the process timely and that you remain in control of the process.  Consistently implementing rules will help employees understand those same rules will always be followed and culturally, you will find employees more compliant and interactive.
